About Us
Where? The Sharp Shooters Camera Club meets at Bear Lake High School, 330 Boise St, Montpelier, Idaho.
When? We usually meet at 7:00 PM on the fourth Wednesday of each month, except for a picnic in summer, and a Christmas party in December at a date and place to be announced each year. November may meet on a special date to avoid a conflict with Thanksgiving. Check this web site for current meeting information.
How Much? Membership in the camera club is free.

Why? The Sharp Shooters Camera Club was formed in 2001 to promote the art of photography in its various forms through the association of its members for study and entertainment; to encourage photographic contests and exhibitions; to stimulate greater interest and advancement in the knowledge and practice of photography; and to help residents of the Bear Lake Valley enjoy photography.
Who? Our meetings provide an opportunity to be closely associated with a company of enthusiastic amateur photographers. You discover that learning to make better pictures can be a most enjoyable experience, and you find friends who are happy to share their photographic know-how with you.
What? A program is presented each month, alternating instruction and entertainment. These programs are presented by members, as well as photographers from other areas. In addition, each month a special assignment is given on subjects selected by the group. Members can email up to two photos which are critiqued, and helpful comments for improvement are given. Lessons, photographs, member galleries, and a list of special assignments can be found on our website. In addition to our regular meetings, field trips are taken to various locations, which give members an opportunity to learn from one another as well as to socialize. Other events during the year include contests in various areas; participation in the Bear Lake County Fair; and exhibits at Bear Lake Drug, Arctic Circle, and others as requested.
