The Jones Market building in Montpelier, Idaho
The old business district in Montpelier used to have a large number of classic brick and stone buildings lining both sides of the streets.  As the population decreased, many became vacant, and many more have been torn down.  The city is in danger of losing much of its character as these classics disappear.
This building had been used for a lot of different businesses over the years.  It was demolished in 2014 and replaced by a modern warehouse.  Frank Jones had a market here for 67 years.  The upper story was a dance hall, then a bowling alley, and the left side was once a helmet factory.
