Marble mill ruins, Marble, Colorado
Marble quarried nearby was cut and polished in this gigantic building that was itself built of marble. Now nature is reclaiming the ruins and the town of Marble caters to tourists.
Marble for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Lincoln Memorial was processed in this building.
