GHOST TOWNS
Copper was discovered on White Knob mountain in 1879 leading to the establishment of the Alder Creek Mining District and several towns. Maps of a terrific driving tour of the mountain are available at MacKay City Hall. Be sure to check out the link above for a virtual tour.
