JoAnn Stephens Farnsworth has written two books of historic stories in the Bear Lake Valley area of Idaho and Utah. She is hearing impaired, so she read lips while interviewing her subjects. Some stories were typed into a computer during the interviews and others were typed later with the help of people who listened to the tapes and told her what they contained.
