Cameron Marlowe was a finalist in the 2007 annual Country Magazine contest, which had thousands of entries. This is the second time in three years that a club member has scored big in this contest after Jim Parker won the grand prize in 2005.
Jim Parker has a display of his photos at Northern Title Company at 690 N 4th Street in Montpelier.
He also had a photo published in the January 2008 issue of Country Extra Magazine. Check it out on pages 38 and 39. Jim has also had several pictures published recently, including a cover photo, in Farm Bureau Magazine.
Cameron Marlowe presented a program at the Star Valley Camera Club in Afton Wyoming, November 29, 2007. He discussed 8 tips for better photography and showed a selection of his digital photos.

Our club had three major prize winners and numerous honorable mentions in this years photo contest sponsored by Valley Pharmacy in Afton, Wyoming. There were more than 700 entries. The big winners were:
Bernice Parslow - Maverik Outdoor Adventure Award, for a photo of a little girl on a sled.
Jim Parker - Valley Pharmacy Award, for a sunset photo.
Ross Walker - Valley Pharmacy Award, for a photo of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.
Ross Walker has been elected as the first President of the newly formed Rocky Mountain Photo Council.
At an awards ceremony at the Oregon Trail Center, Linda and Ross Walker were thanked for their donations and sales of photography to the National Center for Frontier Communities in New Mexico.
Bruce Grayum has a display at US Bank at 672 Washington Street in Montpelier.
Linda and Ross Walker were big winners at the Portneuf Valley Photographic Society's juried show in Pocatello. Ross won the Grand Prize and second place in manipulated prints. Linda won first place in regular and honorable mention in manipulated prints.
