TWO Sharp Shooters, Linda Walker and Jim Parker, had photos published in the January 2009 issue of Country Extra magazine.
Linda Walker has several photos in a new cookbook "Please Be Seated" published by Shari Wells of Montpelier, available at authorhouse.com. One of the photos was published in an article by the Logan, Utah Herald Journal February 24, 2009.
Ross Walker got an honorable mention in February and second place in the April 2009 JHub photo contest (Idaho State Journal). Dave Bower won an honorable mention in June.
Linda Walker had a photograph of the Bear River at winter selected for an annual NARFE calendar (National Active and Retired Federal Employees).
Winners at the 2009 Portneuf Valley Photographic Society's juried show in Pocatello were Bruce Grayum, 1st (Manipulation) and HM (Reality), DeLar Cheney, 1st (Reality), Ross Walker, 2nd
(Manipulation), and Linda Walker HM (Critters).
DeLar Cheney won Best of Show at the 2009 Bear Lake County Fair with a flower photo printed on canvas. Jim Parker won best color photo with a picture of a girl on a horse.
Jim Parker won second place in a Farm Bureau Magazine photo contest.
Ross Walker won third place in the 2009 Idaho Magazine photo contest
The 2009 Star Valley photo contest produced two winners from Bear Lake. Bruce Grayum's Canada Goose photo and Ross Walker's Hands with Incense photo both won $20 gift certificates in the Alan's Photo Store category. Several other club members received special notice.
Ross Walker won second place in the February 2010 JHub photo contest (Idaho State Journal).
