Demolition started on the Tappers building about September 2021 after being heavily damaged by the collapse of the D. J. building next door. It was still ongoing many months later. See the first page of this gallery for photos of the collapse.
This was the Tappers General Motors dealership for many years until it moved to a larger building, then was a Hennings recycling center.
