Mayville, Oregon
Once named Clyde, Mayville was a freighter and stagecoach stop that served mines and ranches in the area starting about 1883.  A hotel and a gristmill burned, and when Route 19 was paved, people no longer stopped here, and the town became a ghost with just 5 or 6 occupied homes.
