Mill ruins at Eureka Bar, Oregon

Eureka Bar is in Hell's Canyon and is only accessible by boat or a difficult hike. This photo was taken from a tour boat. The town started as a copper mine in 1899, but the mill was built for gold. The ship bringing the mill machinery sank in 1903, and the town became a ghost.
